2010? Shouldn’t we be colonizing some other rock by now, or at least mining the choicest bits of our solar system?

Where’s my jet pack and/or flying car?

Well that’s the sequel out of date this year. Unless Jupiter really does ignite and becomes a second Sun with it’s moons as new places for a warring Earth to expand and make peace (except Europa of course but every one knows that).

Happy New Year folks.

2010? Shouldn’t all but a few of us be dead by now?

Indeed – we were promised jet packs! And as for the Bladerunnerstyle flying cars, 2018 is looming…..

Great Googly Moogly

Damn it! The moon should be half-way across the solar system…ants have taken over the world.
We all have immortality and the ability to create scones at will…and always have a towel.

And it should be a shiny rocket suit with insta-food(tm).

Oh and Im beautiful too.

So there.

(And Tony can speak makem properly ;P I still owe you a beer)

I find it strange but kinda cool writing 2010 on all my work stuff..

Me & a friend at work are looking into Morse Telegraphy as a side hobby while th PS3 screams 21st century at me.. Some things have advanced others take time (same old, same old..). Can’t wait to see the ‘Aries’ launch and ‘Spaceship 2′! See we are making progress…

To quote Weird Al Yankovic (via Twitter): “It’s already the second week of January and I’m still writing 1983 on my checks.”

Personally, I’m excited to be living in the future. I help maintain a global information net, something I often do without even leaving my home. One of my neighbours works for the ESA, another is teaching computer programming to gifted children.

It’s far from perfect, but this future is pretty cool. :)
