Brilliant! When does District of Wonders go live, actually?

Block writes with that subtle flow of Agatha Christie, like that ride at Disney that’s smooth and lovely… and then WOW, you go screaming around a turn at break-neck speed! And another, and another! You know who did it, yet you’re whipping your head around to see what will happen next! Tremendous character development for a piece of this length! Awesome debut, flawless narration! Beautiful job, Inspector Jack!

Excellent story to start off the podcast – Block puts in twists aplenty with just the right touches of humor. The reading was amazing and captivating!
…besides, I love the characters of Keller and Dot.

Really enjoyed the story. Nothing terribly surprising about the story but a fun romp! Gotta love the Shakespearean/Soap Opera kind of twists and turns.

Good story and well read. One thing I’d have liked to hear would have been a bit more about Block and some pointers on the rest of his work. If I wanted to read more about those characters then were should I look and so on.

Loved it! Great story to start things off with. Keller reminds me a bit of Spenser (detective in Robert B. Parker novels), a tough guy but with his own consistent moral code. Great reading. Looking forward to more.

This is a little off-topic, but I wasn’t sure where to actually ask it. Is there an actual show schedule posted anywhere, to tell people what shows come out what days? I know TtT comes out Fridays, but I’m not sure about the others. If there’s going to be a new show coming out from each of the 4 in the District of Wonders, maybe the DoW website could have some kind of posting spelling that out?

Great reading of a fun story with the right amount of dark humour.

That’s a good idea Rob about when shows come out. We are working on a number of things – one is a mega feed to subscribe to them all. But, I’ll mention your idea to Josh. As it stands Monday – Crime City Central, Tuesday Protecting Project Pulp, Wednesdays StarShipSofa and Fridays for Tales To Terrify.

So what’s lined up for Thursday? I keep trying to think of a RRR title for a Mills & boon/Chicklit/Romance podcast. Not one I’d have time to listen to, but I expect someone would.

Cracking start to the Podcast. Great story and a great reading.
This is the first Keller story I’ve heard and it’s great to jump in to a character that has a lot of back story one can only guess at. I had to stop myself part way and remember he’s a cold blooded killer who shoots men, women and dogs.
