    Sorry Gonzalo, your post in the June thread prompted me to start a new one for July…

    I seem to be only reading Fantasy novels lately. And SF poetry, naturally. I think I have 10 books on my currently reading list at GoodReads, but what I’m actually reading simultaneously is merely:

    Clash of Kings (Song of Ice and Fire), GRR Martin;
    City of Dragons (RainWilds series), Robin Hobbs;
    An Interzone from last year (desperately trying to catch up on my subscription);
    The 2012 Rhysling Anthology.

    All of them are highly recommended!

    Also, I just finished a slim volume of poetry by Helen Patrice called Woman of Mars. Excellent stuff about first settlers on Mars. Very realistic and beautiful poetry.

    I’ve just finished Rogue Trooper book 1 and I am about to finish Gardens of the Sun (which I am enjoying but not as much as The Quiet War). I’ll be at a loose end soon.
