    Found this recently – on the advertised on the Apple web site.  Anyway, downloaded the four episodes currently available and been listening to them.

    These are digitised recordings of the original 1950s (?) radio broadcasts, so the audio is a little ‘iffy’… might have a stab at cleaning the audio up, but that’ll be a rainy Sunday job (being in Ireland such things aren’t that rare!)

    Thanks for the link, Gary! I’ve loved space opera type stuff like Flash Gordon, ever since I saw the 1980 movie as a kid (which I need to get now that it’s out on DVD). I’m still giving the SciFi Channel series a go, but it had better improve quickly. The dates on the site you linked to say these were made in 1935; I love these old radio dramas, too. There’s nothing like this on radio in the States.
