Avast, ye scurvey sea-dogs! It be International Talk Like a Pirate Day again. In honor of this most glorious holiday, Shimmer is making the electronic edition of the Pirate Issue freely available, for September 19th only. There’s lots of great piratical action in there, including a story by me! But it’s only free today. After that it goes back under lock and key and ye’ll need to hand over your booty if ye want it!

Tolbert’s “b00ty,” it’s worth keeping at it for that story alone.
Polly says, that would be a great one to get for the Sofa. Arrrrrrrr!

LarryYep, there are a lot of great authors there. And of course this was the issue that first indicated John Joseph Adams’ emergence as official anthologist of awesome. Pirates, post apocalyptic, zombies…

Oooooo! Post-apocalyptic zombie pirates! Throw in a firetruck, a bunch of camels and some low-fat recipes and you’ve got yourself a best-seller there.
I downloaded Shimmer yesterday, Grant. I look forward to reading your story.
