I’ve been asked to do another adaptation of a Gene Wolfe story. This time for a tribute to Gene being assembled by the Chicago Literary Hall of Fame. The information is below.

I’ll be working with the members of Terra Mysterium, a Chicago performance ensemble of uncanny and diverse talents.

Some of those taking part in the event are Neil Gaiman, Jody Lynn Nye,Michael Swanick, Patrick O’Leary, Audrey Niffenegger, and Gary K. Wolfe.

If you’re in Chicago on March 17, please come by. Gene Wolfe Tribute

Wow!

I don’t suppose there’s any chance of anyone filming this?

I did respond to this some time ago but I guess it didn’t survive the migration. We’ll probably do an audio recording and will try to video the event but I’m not too hopeful about the quality of that. We’ll see. This will be a relatively short presentation — somewhere around 20 minutes — but I have high hopes for the quality. If it works out, and if we can get the rights, I’ll see if Tony wants to ‘cast it.

Thanks Larry; I’m a huge fan of Gene’s stuff, and I really enjoyed the adaptation of “The Tree is My Hat” you did some years ago.
