And speaking of the Pulps, this coming week, Tales to Terrify will feature a 12,400 word story from the September, 1927 edition of Hugo Gernsback’s “Amazing Stories.”

Stop by the Nook this Friday!

So, Tony…what about Fantasy? Your conquest of the world will not be complete until you take up the cause of fantasy Epic, Urban, Contemporary, sand the rest, the stuff with elves and dragons — real dragons! — and quests and princess and ogres….

I am guessing the Larry’s story will be colorful, yet full of space. The kind of story we love because of how it’s crafted.

Tony, have you considered Chicklit? There doesn’t seem to be much competition.

It will, in fact, be colourful.

Clever story by Hannu Rajaniemi, I think I’d have to listen to multiple times to come close to picking up all its intricasies.

As for World Wide Domination – Firstly you have a STARSHIP, where’s the ambition stopping at the World?
I wish the new shows all the best. I did find my self questioning the need for a Pulp one, surely that spans a number of genres and when they appear in the specialist shows they provide a nice contrast to more recent works.

Can I also ask if the once talked of idea of an e-magazine has now been shelved and also whether there will be a ‘Stories Vol.4 after the lower than hoped sales last time?

Pulp will be alsorts… not just genre related, stories about flying, adventure, underwater… anything.

For now eBook has been put on hold – just a little too complicated with all copyright issues.

Vol 4 – I’m not entirely sure to be honest.

Thanks for the clarifiction – looking forward to it now. Of course with all these new shows I might need some kind of aural implant in order to listen to them all!

. . . and then, a podcast for Stories Where the Cover Art Features a Young Woman With a Giant Tattoo Displayed On Her Bare Back. We could call it . . . what? Cliches Cling Cloyingly.

The pulp podcast has already had to deal with questions of stepping on the toes of Tony’s other podcasts, and I expect this problem to be chronic.
