Has anyone in the U.S. market been watching “The Fades” as it airs on BBC America?

Just wondering. I’ve seen the first two episodes and am quite liking it. It’s an interesting mix of coming-of-age angst with apocalyptic horror. I’ll be curious to see how the two balance. Currently, it seems to be tipping off-course a bit. But, what the hell. It’s interesting and rather watchable.

Thoughts? Comments?

I think I started a thread on this ages ago.

I’ve watched the whole series and I thought it was pretty good. I won’t give you any spoilers but point out it’s one of those shows that rewards you for paying attention.

Oh, I can’t wait to come back and discuss some points after you’ve seen the whole show!

Yes, I saw the older thread and watched a few eps on Youtube. I liked it pretty well, but it was hard to find (the surviving uploads were poorly labeled, making them hard to find for me, or the BBC) so I gave up after a while.

After about 5 shows I started to question whether there really was a deep backstory there to uncover, or if it was mostly just spooky atmospherics. They weren’t rolling out the revelations fast enough for my taste.
