    And what a delicious story… lush and descriptive, classic pulp with – as you observed, Simon – an uncharacteristic authenticity that made the narrative that much more compelling. And it’s always refreshing to hear a pulp tale from one of the stellar women of genre. Josie was clearly enjoying herself in the reading and that was the frosting on the cake. : )
