Ian McDonald is a science-fiction writer living just outside Belfast, in Northern Ireland. His first novel was Desolation Road, his most recent is Luna: Wolf Moon, from Tor in the US and Gollancz in the UK. He’s been nominated for every major SFF award, and even won a few.
