Brian Trent is a 2013 winner in the Writers of the Future contest for his story “War Hero”  and his work has appeared in ANALOG, Daily Science Fiction, Apex (winning the 2013 Story of the Year Reader’s Poll), Clarkesworld, Escape Pod, COSMOS, Strange Horizons, Galaxy’s Edge, Crossed Genres, The Mammoth Book of Dieselpunk, and much more. He lives in Connecticut, where he works as a writer and screenwriter.

Bill Patterson is the author of a computer-aided design software book and wrote a column for Microstation Manager Magazine (1996) for three years. He has been published in JournalStone’s SF anthology “90 Minutes to Live“(2012), as well as Mutation Press’s SF anthology “Rocket Science” (2012).

He was nominated for the British Science Fiction Award (Non-Fiction category) in 2012.  His narration work has been featured in Wily Writers, Another Dimension, and Third Flatiron.

He is the co-leader of both the Princeton Writing Group and the Central NJ Region of National Novel Writing Month. He and his wife of 32 years, Barbara, live with their two sons in Central New Jersey.
