Robert Dawson teaches mathematics at a Nova Scotian university. He has been writing science fiction for about eight years, and is an alumnus of the Sage Hill and Viable Paradise writing workshops. When not teaching, doing research, or writing, he enjoys orienteering, fencing, and cycling, and volunteers with a Scout troop. His stories have appeared in Compelling SF, Nature Futures, Tesseracts, and many other periodicals and anthologies
