It’s decided… we are going to walk Hadrian’s Wall.

Now this is the thing… you are more than welcome to join Gary Main and myself either here on the blog, or in person on the actual walk. If you think you might like to join us – well, that would be fantastic. Drop me an email: starshipsofa@gmail.com. We plan to visit the area this November to get a feel for the place and do a test walk.

As of now… and things can change – we aim to do the main walk over the spring of 2015 for (possibly the beginning of April) four days/three nights starting from Wallsend and heading west to finish at Bowness-On-Solway. Again this can all change but it’s at least penciled in… and it’s a thick pencil!

We have both got ourselves a copy of Hadrian’s Wall Path by Henry Stedman as our initial guide book. Note: it is the first dead tree book I have bought in over five years.
