We Pay Writers

Hello everyone! Tony C. Smith here, and I’m just so proud to be making an exciting announcement today. 

Starting in the New Year, ALL THREE of our shows here in the District of Wonders are going to be paying authors!

We’ve been working a long time to get here, and it’s been a dream of mine for years to give back to the great established writers and new voices who have put their work out there on our shows. Beginning in the new year, StarShipSofa, Tales to Terrify and Far Fetched Fables will pay authors $50 per story.

As always, we’re looking for new and diverse writers from all over – all kinds of people from all over, all voices – so spread the word that StarShipSofa, Tales to Terrify and Far Fetched Fables are now paying markets! StarShipSofa and Tales to Terrify are both award winning shows and Far Fetched Fables is rapidly gaining a huge following – all brilliant shows with great communities behind them, and our goal is to bring great stories to you all.

I want to thank the District of Wonders community and all of our supporters for getting us to this point. Your subscriptions, support on our Patreon, and the help in spreading the word are what has made it possible for us to start paying these talented writers. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
